I swear more than I should. I attribute this to being raised by a man whose second language was English. English heavily laced with FUCK SHIT GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKER BITCH ASSHOLE COCKSUCKER, etc., etc.

I got in trouble at the babysitter's for saying cunt when I was 8. Imagine my surprise when I explained to my father why I got in trouble, and he said he didn't even know what that word meant. LOL.

i do swear a lot around certain individuals but dont swear at all around others.

I think people who know how to swear make swearing lots of fun.

The English language is filled with so many interesting words that we should try to use more colorful expressions than just simple swearwords.

well you can be creative with swears. add them to words that otherwise are perfectly fine. find different uses for all of them. you know.

To me language is "hearer centric". The hearer of words is the one who attributes meaning, not the speaker. I swear all the time, because they are just words, the same as any other. If a hearer hears the words, and reacts to them, it is because of the meaning they attribute to the words, not because of anything I have done. I think people being offended etc. by hearing swearing says more about that person, than the person doing the swearing.
