Hey RJ

What about the pout? Is that part of the arm-flex or is it optional?

Not only is flexing the arm a clear way of displaying one's approval, excitement or satisfaction but it also a whole lot of fun.

For example:
- You close a big deal at the office, have a good meeting, do something well - flex the arm!
- You are at a big show, the DJ plays a track you like or does a good mix - flex the arm!
- You're having a whole lot of fun with your friends and want to share and show how you feel - flex the arm!

I wouldn't have shared this technique unless I found it to be rewarding. I encourage you to give it a try next time you're really enjoying something, something really exciting happens, you have a big achievement or just really appreciate a situation - JUST FLEX THE ARM!

The arm-flex is on par with the "high-five" but allows one to express themselves without requiring another person to participate.

Combo "high-five" / "arm flex" moves are the pinnacle of expressing one's positive experience, satisfaction, enjoyment.

It maybe fun if you are alone but if you are out and about in public and you are out of shape it becomes a visual hazard to those surrounding you.

I'm used to doing the 'thumbs up' sign, also comparable to the bicep 'flex'. Easier and less embarassing for me...haha

You, my friend, have just discovered what Rafael Nadal does -SO WELL- and consistently after -every- win on the courts!

NOBODY in tennis does the fist pump (aka the arm flex) as well as Nadal. The man definitely has the best looking (muscular) arms in men's tennis!

This one pictured above was taken just yesterday (for us) after Nadal took out Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany at the Australian Open in Melbourne.

It's his trademark on the courts after he wins!

And Vin Diesel's arms were MADE for flexing!

The man's arms are impressive (IMO).

This thread needs a good Vin Diesel arm flex -- I shall need to find one.

I have one of these on my desk and I do arm curls, arm extensions and shoulder pulls incessantly when I am on the phone (except when I am typing).

I was just about to say that. I find the double thumbs up works for me and the double thumbs up with a full teethed smile adds a little extra.

I will definitely give the flexed arm a try tho.
