I fully understand. 1 of 1500 in Canada in 1988.

Mine was a hand me down from my Dad who was the original owner. It was rusting so bad...on structural shit like frame rails.

The gas tank was also leaking a lot of fuel. like enough to leave a puddle at a stoplight.

What I SHOULD have done is taken the motor out of it and put it in my Miata. When my Dad gave me that car it was because my Miata motor had just let go, but I needed something to drive in the mean time.

Installing it in the miata would have been super easy.

No, V8s go in Miatas. The BPT goes in Ford Fiestas.

As I recall, there weren't so many accidents when we had the ice storm in Quebec.

But my memory is weak. Very weak.

Exactly

B6T (1.6L) / BPT (1.8L) in a Festi would be awesome.

There's a guy in Kitchener with a 5.0L swap in his. Most guys I know just strap boost to theirs. There's a bunch of them running around the GTA with around 250 rwhp.

LSx Vette/Camaro swaps are getting more common too, believe it or now.

GTA cops received about 400 calls by Monday, Jan 15th noon.

hotness! So why the switch to the 2.5 RS? Tired of the maintenance, I'm guessing? The Sube has to be a *lot* less fun to drive (in stock form)

mine was in *far* less decent shape and with only mild mods (custom 3" turbo-back exhaust, K&N FIPK, MBC @ 15psi, newer JDM engine, dropped, gauges, etc)...still pretty damn fun to drive though, but there was way too much wrong with it for me to deal with.

I miss my old Talon It was fun to drift around corners in the snow.

Forget about rice rockets, Audi S4 rules: I could not get mine to slide in snow even if I wanted too:
