While I am certainly the most qualified person in the West Coast board to be a moderator, considering that I've co-built (well, built one and co-design another with a major community developer which still uses a lot of my ideas today in their stuff even though we don't use them anymroe!) two HUGE forums on the web (well, one HUGE one that's wayyyyyyyyy bigger than TA and another very popular one) in my years and was known as the "forum nazi" on both because I was a kick ass admin (in both cases after I handed off my duties to someone else there will petitions for like a year to have me come back ), I vote myself OUT.

I'd just as soon nominate DaveT, but ever since we lost our past mod I knew he wasn't going to be up for it. I'd love to take the position, because even though the NWTAs aren't too active I still very much enjoy this part of the forum. Plus, even though I probably need to get out of the house more , I'm on here for a good portion of the day, so...

Thanks guys for nominating me. If I don't get it, that's fine; as long as we get someone modding this place aside from the already-busy Swamper, I'll be happy.

I've known him in real life for the last 3 years and he is a level headed, unbiased guy and he is willing to lay down the law when he has to.

Naeblis and/or Boomers would definitely be a good choice. They are both responsible and mildmannered. I think Jake would also be a good mod. And, I think Bas or Clovis would do a good job. As would Montie.

the cool thing about this section is that there is minimal modding needed. an edit here, a sticky there, a close once in a while. so I am sure there are a bunch of us that would do well as a mod.

Boomers, you and Naeblis are older and mature and you both have been TAs for a long time. You both contribute a lot to TA and you both have adminned and modded elsewhere and done good jobs at it.

While I don't see a problem with multiple mods, if there really is minimal modding required then wouldn't multiple mods be overkill?
