If you don't have an ID you're pretty much SOL during the conference. I'd strongly recommend skipping it until you're either 18 or 21 or have a good ID or some solid hookups. You live in georgia...that's at *least* a 6 hour drive for you...long way to go for no guaranteed parties.

The outdoor festivals like Ultra and Global Gathering are all ages events so that's pretty much your only guarantee. If you're fine with those two shows alone, by all means go for it. But don't count on being able to just wing it for the other big shows. If you have an ID, ANY ID, it'll work...you just gotta have that ID. I've never had a problem in miami with a fake id, but if you don't have one to begin with its just not gonna happen.

If you're interested in the smaller shows, like afternoon lounges and pool parties and tiny bars with an unknown dj in the corner, you'll probably get in, possibly won't get carded for a beer or something. But the moral to the story is that if you want to go to Space, the Mansion, Pawnshop, Nocturnal, Opium, or see Sasha, Digweed, Tiesto, Sander, or whoever (insert your favorite superstar dj here) you're probably out of luck --- besides the outdoor festivals of course, but IMO those shows suck. I went to four Ultras from 02-05 but I'm never going again. Its a matter of taste but its just not for me. TOo many candy kids and the sets are too crowd pleasing, not dirty underground enough. *shrug*

Just wait until you're old enough and go to the events you can. In the meantime, come to a psy festival, they're usually all ages.
