I agree with the bloke who mentioned Fabric it's a good club night on Saturday nights, if Drum & Bass is your thing check it out on a Friday.

That's just an arrogant stereotype people have of British food then again most tourist who visit the UK eat the s*ite peasant food.

London can can be fantastic if you track down decent venues fifteen and Momo are two very good places. Also there is loads of brilliant gastropubs around.

i found earl's court to be the most suitable. and probably the least expensive.

i'm not ragging on british food, i just find it more enjoyable to other areas i've visited - south america especially.

edit: but again this is all on personal opinion, you obviously have different tastes than i do.

I was there 4 days last week with my friends and had a really awesome time!
Saw Nic Fanciulli, Buick Project (live), Paolo Mojo, Sebastien Leger & Chris Lake at Ministry of Sound this Saturday I'll have to check out Fabric and The End the next time I happen to be in London tho.

A fun place to visit that nobody have mentioned yet is Camden Market.

And yea, the food isn't that great.. and expensive too.

Believe it or not I'm not the biggest fan of British food and I find the more traditional to be quite bland. Over the years it's had some awful press. The culinary scene over here has gone through quite a renaissance there is plenty of places offering a new style of mordern European cooking (infusing different styles) which is gracing the restaurant scene in the UK.

London = EXPENSIVE AS HELL.


I have been to tons of huge capitals around the world and London has to be one that makes me wanna cry the most. The prices are nuts.
Right now I go to Switzerland on a regular basis and I find the prices there cheaper than in London ( then again the Euro to Swiss francs exchange rate is in my favor, but not in my favor with the Pound ).

In general anyhow the UK is real pricey I have found the 4 to 5 times I have been there.
