how much are they for u? if its only 15-20 euros more, id say go for it over the 2000s...

the dj pro 2000 costs aprrox 75 euro, the dj pro 3000 approx 100 euro's ....

the MDR7506's are out of my league (at this moment) they cost some 150-200 euro i think. the MDR7509's are even more expensive (250 euro+)
and lets not talk about the V900's ... she's a beauty, but soooo expensive

in that case, buy the cheapest thing that will hold you over till you can save for some proper cans.

Again, if you are dead set on getting Stanton's, I can tell you that mine are great performers for the money. I've had no issues whatsoever during a year's use.

I stress again: I have never used them in a club. I have only one other sample to compare them to.

I really wish I could be more help, but we're talking about man-made/electronic stuff. I could use my 2000s for 20 years with no hiccups, and the next guy could buy a pair that broke in 2 weeks. You just really never know.

I have the 2000's, actually the first pair I had cracked (on the headband). I sent them to Stanton under warranty, and after a quick 3 months they sent me a replacement

The new ones seem a little nicer, though I now just keep them as backups (as I had to buy some new cans when the first ones broke).

I will say they sound decent, the highs are very crisp. They lack a bit on the low end compared to my Sony's, however.
