It was alright when European immigrants came to the US of A; but now that the immigrants come from south of the border then we have to put our foot down? In a country that is supposed to believe all men are created equal there are a lot of people that over look this sovereign right. People are quick to eliminate it not realizing that this call for immigration reform suddenly becomes a problem.

But let's ignore the detainees. Let's ignore the Iraq war. Let's ignore other breaks in the law to alleviate this problem in immigration. No one is seeing the obvious or asking the obvious:

What price does one have to pay for immigration reform? A national ID? Amnesty to make immigrants all citizens?

People really have to look ahead to get where they need to go and not look at every singe step of where they're headed. After all those in power already built the roads for you. It's just a matter of time before people stop feeding from the trough and follow into the pen just like they want you to do.

The thing with that is that Europeans are white and chinese, latin americans are not. Neither were blacks when they were so cruely exploited by the white man. Kind of what the white man has done to the brown man for the past 300yrs.

Its what I would do. I want cheap labor where i don't have to pay for health insurance or decent wages. So than i hire illegal immigrants who want to work. Than make a good profit off their cheap labor.

You don't see the correalation btwn slavery and illegal immigration?

Well, I'm interested as to why you think you would know what I would do. I however, do know what I would do. I realize running a business is about keeping costs in check, but I also realize that breaking the law, or exploiting others is not the way to do that. So, I completely disagree with your idea of what I would do.

There has to be limits to this madness. The people of today can't be held responsible for the actions of those that lived 150 years ago. If we try to go on some witch hunt where anyone with even a sliver of relation to a previous slave owner or slave trader throughout the human history of slavery, we'd all be guilty. Bad things happened in the past, we can't do anything about that. We can do something about making sure that equality exists today and we don't repeat the mistakes of the past.
