Best (and bloodiest) strategy RPG ever...kept me playing for 20 hours straight. No other game has done that.
A fucking gem of a game right there. Did you ever play Vandal Hearts 2? It was crazy only because instead of you and cpu taking turns...the cpu moved WHILE you moved. so the game was 10x harder.
other incredibly addictive games include...Lumines, Geometry Wars, Halo 2 on Live, and Counterstrike.

World of Warcraft. I quit 2 months ago and I still cant stop the cravings to get back into it. So unimaginably addicting.
I'll second that. I managed to quit for a month, then my sister got me to give her a lift to EB to pick up TBC. It was like taking a junkie into a crackhouse. Now I have a level 34 BE mage.

When I first discovered Defense of the Ancients and Tower Defense maps for Warcraft3. As far as consoles go, I would have to say Super Mario Kart on the snes. Me and a friend would play that battle game for hours.

I did and absolutely HATED VH2 It really took the whole point away from the game. The idea of a strategy game is to be like a game of chess...positioning your team in a way to be strong enough to withstand the next move. Because the other team moves simultaneously, it defeats the whole purpose, and you end up moving players to empty parts of the battlefield and wasting their attacks. Bleh I say. I hope they make Vandal Hearts 3 a true turn-based RPG.

I totally agree. I actually never played it myself, but I watched one of my buddy's play for a while. How are you supposed to be able to predict where the CPU is gonna move if they do it exactly when you do it? To me, that doesnt seem very much like strategy, but luck.
