Right now I believe the law is if you are over 18, a passenger in a car, and not wearing a seatbelt in a car that's pulled over you (the passenger) are ticketed. If you are under 18, then the driver is ticketed. If these turn out to be true, then if you are over 18 both you and the driver will be ticketed.
Another thing that's fishy is that I'm pretty sure the cell phone law is one of those laws that you won't be ticketed for unless you are pulled over for a more serious matter (like speeding). They won't simply pull you over for just using your cellphone....I think it should be no matter what, but I'm pretty sure that's how it's gonna be...so don't see how it would easily be doubled if you do it in a construction zone.
Aren't fines in construction zones doubled as is for any law you break?
