The ananda remix is the least boring out of the 3 mixes if you count the original. The reason I don't like it is because the track doesn't go anywhere. Anyone else agree?
Listen to 'The Leopard'. Now that's a better release which I do like:

Leopard is great, especially the Extrawelt remix. But I still think Seconds is a wonderful tune. I don't understand what you mean by it not "going anywhere".

There is little to no variation in the track which in turn makes the track sound like a long loop instead of music. That, too me, is monotonous and boring. Only very few artists can pull that off without sounding dull.

tracks don't have to 'go anywhere' to be good, especially in the context of a mix (Audion - Mouth to Mouth) |
I'm tired of people making excuses for a track.
-it's not meant to go anywhere
-this track isn't meant to WOW or be impressive (so is it meant to be dull?)
-you have to listen to this at a high volume or big sound system for it to sound good.
-etc, etc, etc
It seems that I have to fullfill all those requirements in order to enjoy this track. If that's the case then allow me to say goodbye to the good ol' days of simply listening to a track and determining if I like it or not, because it appears that simplicity just doesn't cut it anymore. Instead it is being replaced by ready made recipes of opinions called 'what to...and what not to expect in a track'. I'm sorry, but if I did that I would be giving my real opinions a backseat and conforming to the standards set by you guys or in other words -modified bandwagon. If a track isn't great in any reasonable setting you play it in, then it's not great at all. It can be good, but never great.
