i got it perfect, but yea that last part looks like i need version 7 to come out hahah, is that a free upgrade for registered users?

Wrapper options -> Browse Parameters -> Find the parameter you want automated -> Create Automation Clip

i knew about this, but i never figured out how to delete the automation...

for instance, i'll record movement of a the filters on a vst such as z3ta...how do i delete the knob tweaking that i recorded?

Probably Wrapper Options -> Browse Parameters -> find the parameter you just recorded -> Edit Events. You just need to find the pattern you recorded it to.

You can also just undo the knob tweak if it's still in your history.

Well, you can record your own pattern automation.

Just select a new unused pattern in the playlist and press record, now when its recording you can change whatever on the synht that you want automated. And then go to Current project--- automatio --- Pattern.
