I hear what you're saying about being more accurate using 6% but I only ever use 10% and it means that my mixing is much faster and mixes are always tight.

Not had any complaints so far...

I suppose it depends on what style you're playing as some music styles can hide the slight flaw here and there.

On my 3000 it's 6% almost all the time, and very rarely 10%
