funny you mentioned this..i have a buddy who produces hiphop..i gatta admit his first attempt of making beats was pretty damn good..but they usually go for marco v style..the harder stuff..

yea sure it takes 5 minutes, once you've already sampled material or set up drum kits, have breaks already chopped up n stuff.

and for who say its all in the vocals, look up some 'turntablism' artists.

hip hop, good hip hop, is just as difficult to master as any other art.
