I got a used QSC 850 (for $200) that worked fine, but I would be suspicious of paying $60 for an amp unless it's either really old or poorly made. Sometimes paying a little extra for something that you know is in good shape..is better than going on the cheap for something just because your on a budget. If $400 is his budget, there's lots of decent amps for $200 - $400. |
Check your local craigslist. People are giving amps away. You can find $400 amps that are 2 years old for under $100. Crap out on me? The owner that sold it to me had it sitting in his closet... it was a gift... he watched DVDs on it for a year or so... enter me... now I blast thing thing HARD every day... hasn't hiccupped once.
I'd rather spend the extra $300 on a CDJ or something.
