Eh, I'm not so sure. This isn't the same kind of case where, say, goths might go "Hey! It's that Marilyn Manson song!" when they hear Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams, because Manson did a total reinterpretation of the original.

Prydz doesn't do enough with this to distinguish from the original. Hell, the whole thing RELIES on the original! And, ultimately, because the song credits go to Floyd as well.

Been hearing it tonnes for months and havent and dont think I will get tired of it. Saw Prydz play at Godskitchen last Saturday and nothing could beat the reaction when he played that (despite how much its been whored), gave me even more respect for the track.

i really like it, of course, if you think away the pink floyd vocals then there's definitly no bricks left in the wall :P but it's damn catchy... stupid videoclip though!

This track blew the house away when Marco V spun it last weekend.

Just heard it tonight at a show, it goes down nicely live, no doubt. As expected, everyone was wondering "what is this Pink Floyd tune?"

Still, I could pass.

Hmm yes you've got a good point there. In my previous post I was merely thinking of the rather young people here who tend to listen to the Eric Prydz hits that end up in the charts, you know, I just don't think they even know Pink Floyd, which is sad. Although, if the song credits go to the Floyd as well, things might just end up the other way round with the kids starting to look for more Pink Floyd music

As for the song, I don't like it too much, although the bass is great.
