We can complain about the influx of talentless new producers all we want, but ultimately a lot of the blame lies with the existing producers for allowing their sound to go to shit or simply jumping genre when the fuse goes out. You should be able to rely on certain names to produce good stuff, and yet how many producers have either given up or got worse? Additionally, the scene may well be getting diluted by half-arsed tracks, but there's obviously a cult of DJs playing these shit tracks and ensuring the producers earn from them.
