AnomalyConcept, it happens about 2 or three times per hour. Not neccesarily when I first touch it, also mid set.

I get the same, but I get shocked in my ear by my headphones. Its cause of my carpet + socks...its really bad in this house. kinda hurt the first few times, but Im kinda used to it by now.

If you live in a place where it's too cold and the weather is dry, you're experiencing Electo-Static Discharge (ESD). You can get a ESD mat and your problem should go away.
All jokes aside, is the wiring in your house good? Shocking is usually a result of bad ground..my ground in the house was bad, and i would always get shocked.. you can buy a plug in for your electrical outlets that will tell you if you have a bad ground or wiring.. try pluggin it in elsewhere and see if the same thing happens.

most mixers have attachments for grounding wires in the back....try grounding. but i've seen this mostly when my setup is on carpet...

I can tell you the experience was shooooooocking...omg...I'm still shaking
I think I could get used to such reviews
@ DJ Z: My mixer only has grounding wire attachments for turntables. And my setup is not on a carpet, but on cork (sp?) I am wearing wool socks though cause my room is quite cold :P
