Ok, I guess it's not 156 minutes even though it so that in the corner. But it was still agonizing to watch. I don't understand how people can be so stupid. That's about all I have to say. And what's even more shocking was the size of the audience and the fact that he was actually keeping their attention.

It all started like this...

I was responding to your query as to how much I watched, and what mental state I was in during that viewing. Initially I wrote "I watched the first half or so, and I was that bored ", and I was quite satisfied with that.

If you've watched the first half then you'll remember that he spends most of it talking about dragons! Dragons, dragons and more dragons. So I thought I would edit my initial comment to include a little of this detail, because everyone would understand that any program that deals so closely with dragons is must see tv.

That's when things went awry. After I clicked send on my edit, woe was to be me. You'd already quoted the initial message, so now my dragon edit sat orphaned in the thread. What was I to do?

A deletion seemed in order, then I'd just write a new message mentioning the dragons. In my haste to act I'd made things worse, now you were quoting from a message that no longer existed! And my explanation of an edit didn't cleanly fit the facts.

Where does this leave us? In a forum where luckily for me people are used to reading longer than usual posts. With that as a measure I present to you the preceding story, and hope that it adequately recreates the events which lead to its creation.


However you might feel cheated, so I will tell you my greatest secret.

Dragon's Strength appears to be = X + 1
Dragon's Strength actually is = X - 1

Naturally you just substitute Dragon with whatever obstacle you might face, and you'll have in your possession the basis for every story written, and a self help/motivational tool that will allow you to move mountains!

In order to answer that question, first I would have to answer why was I here in the first place.


I was here as part of my training for the Grail Quest that was to follow. Why here? because here is one of the watering holes where this generation's deep space navigators congregate to share their vision of reality.


Once my training was complete I left on my Grail Quest. Which consisted of a single task. Unlock a Dragon's heart. This was complicated in three ways. The first is that the dragon was located in hell. The second being that the dragon does not sit idly by while you try key after key. Instead she breathes torrent upon torrent of fire on you. The third is that the lock's design is similar to that of a Russian nesting doll, in that it consisted of a seemingly infinite series of locks within locks within locks.


Eventually I was faced with the final lock. Whose mechanism has characteristics similar to that of a bank's vault. The most important element of which is a 'time lock'.

When faced with a time lock, a single task falls into your lap. How do you fill the time? One of the answers to this question that I've had has been, "Watch a creationist video about Dragons", another has been, "Write long winded replies to simple questions"
