my recommends:

Hum (aka the greatest band to ever walk the face of the earth)
check out their albums: 'youd prefer an astronaut' and 'downward is heavenward'. their like floyd meets helmet on pcp.

Sunny Day Real Estate 'Diary' great singer, very cryptic lyrics, great arrangement and songwriting for a 4 piece emo band from early 90s seattle.

My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless," if you haven't heard it before. Rock with really interesting guitar textures and a couple ambient-ish rambles interspersed.

MBV is very similar to Hum. Would highly recommend them if you havent heard them.
