How does one accomplish this?

That's not true at all. The reason synths are actually better than most VSTs.
Listen to this sample, 100% reason synths.

I use live with reason in rewire when ever I need to, I do it less and less though. But in your case I advice you to switch to live and continue to use reason, you'll still feel at home that way, you will soon realise that live on its own is a powerfull creative tool and very easy to use . get some good vst, my favorite being albino. Since you like techno you ll be happy to know that live is like a huge sampler that it fits your audio file on time and you don t have to worry about much. The clip automation are fanstastic , same for the automation in general. use battery 3 for rex files instead, it rocks! Live comes with some descent plug in which have the merit to be very easy to use. I use to be a logic user and a cubase user but since live 5 and now 6 i switched, there is not much live can t do, and i think with live you will get where you want quickly that might not be the case with cubase. I'm not a fan of reason and even if a lot of people out there beleive it's the right tool for them I dont think the plug in can be compare to good vst
example :
Urs vs M class compressor eq
albino Vs substracto, malstrom

reason is a very creative tool though so use rewire for little while at least.

cheers

I used to use reason for everything
now i dont even or barely use reason maybe for the redrum or some samplers but i did learn from reason and rebirth now i can do so much now than before but you have to start somewhere.

I don't have any reason songs but maybe someone could upload one for you as an example?

Have fun!

There are a shyteload of songs from every genre on the Propellerhead site that you can download to see exactly how the music was created and try to reproduce it!!!

Actually I'd have to say Propellerhead/Reason have the best online community out there as far as publishing user content!

Question

Worked some stuff already up. I would like to post the sample's to hopefully get more advice on it.

I maded a topic already of post sample's. I would like to know some more of it.
I mean privacy then with that.

thx for the replies.

ps: About making music, what comes in making trance music like the stepping stones, the thing that makes the music:

-synths
-bassline
-drumpattern
-the sound in the song(don't know the word for it)

What other facts are there ?

there are dicks and assholes in the world now do you want to be the dick or the asshole?

to the question at hand tho.. honestly ive been doing shit for 5 years and have conlcuded i really have no desire to make trance these days i dont like the direction any productions have gone but hey honestly im just an old epic trancer thats what trance has allways been about to me and id rather listen to fucked up random shit then listen to genric sounding melodys and synths. so be it the rules to follow
1. follow no set rules
2. refer to 1
3. fucked up-ness could be invative
4. pissing around making random noises eventually get you somewhere
5. twisting knobs teach you what each thing does and how it does it comes later.
6. dont be scared to fuck your shit up for the fact of being able to say well i shouldnt do that next time.
7. everyone sucks at something but if you enjoy it fuck what everyone else says becuase someone out there will like it even if you yourself dont.
8. some of the best things are the simpliest things.
9. allways have fun if you arnet having fun dont do it and do something else.
10. get a midi controller hell get a midi controller and midi controller for drums aswell as piano.
11. if someone ever talks shit dont take it more then how you would rate a track that some butt fuck just sent you.
12. F1, F1, F1, F1, F1
13. if 12 failts try ALT+F4 and do it when your brain is clear.

some of the best tracks ive made imo have been after getting so bloody pissed off at my work that i simply quit doing anyhting for a month or so and just spun rekkords and thats it and then i waited and waited and waited untill my brain was overflowing and i opend my daw and started making fucked up randomness. some people call it noise some people call it completely incorrect. but hey its art and art is one of thoose things wheres theres never any wrongs. being that it is completely opion based, thats one of the best things about it in all honesty. rember and allways rember you dont have to make 4/4 shit or make notes that progress in any musically natural way ohh and nothigns wrong with taking a sexy fx and destorying it to where it makes your ears melt and then use it randomly in a timed matter.

once youve learned to enjoy what you do and know that there really isnt any wrong aslong as your doing your own thing and not trying to be a fanboy then i suppose it will evenutally all come.
