Ok, so I decided to go to this show at the last minute. I wasn't expecting much since I really haven't been a big fan of what Digweed has been playing in the past few years.
The show started out slow and got better 30 minutes into his set. My expectations were exceeded and I had an enjoyable time. The set he played Saturday night reminded me of his older and famous progressive sets, the ones I loved.
As for the Karma, the Lizard Lounge has some tough competition. The club was very spacious, big dance floor, plenty of sitting, and awesome light and sound system.
My only complaint is there's only one bathroom and it's right next to the DJ booth.
Overall, there was a good turn out and everyone was dancing and having a good time.
MSTRKRFT was not my cup of tea, but DJ Red Eye played an exciting set.
Anyone else go?
