Nikhil: I've been lucky to be able to see Ferry live 3 times already (considering I live in Guatemala), and believe me when I tell you that he has never let me down. Everytime, he has rocked the place and on top of everything, he's a really nice, down to Earth guy.
Quick update, the Ferry dates have been switched...
28th Feb, wed...... MOS, New Delhi
01st Mar, thu...... Squeeze, Mumbai
@Woscar... There's crazy excitement here in Mumbai about his gig. We're doing a complete sound + light overhaul of the club, and the punters are queueing up for autographs and pics.
He's actually gonna be very close to the dancefloor in Mumbai (don't know the set-up at MOS), and I think people screaming their heads off, might just make mixing a bit of a problem

That's pretty cool because Ferry has no problem in signing autographs while he's mixing. Very cool guy.

I think part of the blame can be laid at the dancefloor... the number of requests he was getting for these tunes was ENORMOUS...plus, if you look at the video, you'll see it was a very low console with clubbers in-your-face.
I daresay if he was playing in Europe, it would have been a very different TL, But in Bombay, he made everyone, and i mean everyone in the club very very happy.
There hasn't been a single negative review for his set on the Submerge forum
that track selection just seems so bloody obvious imo...its got too many big well known tracks from 06 and WAY too much of his own newer productions for my liking. but i guess if he was just playing to the crowd and they all enjoyed it, thats the main thing i would of hated alot of it though

guys.. TL is not that bad. Look at the tracks he played at Stockholm or in his past few gigs... apart from playing encores, he'd sticked to classics. Also, it was his first gig at Mumbai and so it was much expected. Anyway, had a ball time yesterday.

Enjoyed it is an understatement! Halfway thru he even joked that it was like a "ferry Corsten producer set"... but that's EXACTLY what the crowd wanted, and they couldn't get enough of it... Like I said, it was his first gig in Bombay, but judging by the response he got, he'll be back soon.
