Frankly, this latest Homolka story is mostly attention whoring by the Toronto Sun. Frankly, who cares whether she had a child or not. Like it or not, she is a private citizen now with the same rights and priveleges as the rest of us. Don't like it? COMPLAIN TO MICHAEL BRYANT; he's the one with the authority to press new charges. Hounding the woman solves nothing and will only damage the child further. This is probably what the Sun wants as it makes for more profitable copy later. Fact is, demonizing Homolka is like describing rain as wet - IT'S NOT NEWS!
I think the glaring lack of ethics and integrity at the Sun is the more troubling issue

Well, I wouldn't say she's rehabilitated. In fact, based on the circumstances around this story (assuming they're accurate), parenting a child could be seen as an impulsive act which is partly why she wound up with Bernardo in the first place and counterproductive to her rehabilitation.
