I've eaten dog in Korea and what I think was cat in Vietnam, neither where very tasty. Don't recommend them.

Actually the funniest thing about tracking down this news story was parsing through all the US local news services just as a drunken experiment to see if some proverbial nut would think Peanut Butter poisoning could be linked to terrorism by the media.
(Apparently it can be! )

But the interesting thing is that fairly much all of them have a sidebar which has 'War on Terror' dedicated sidebar on their web pages, if you ever needed an in depth coverage or forgot it was there. 'Tis handy I suppose from a number of perspectives.
Keeps the locals in a ready state of paranoia/fear
'War' with resistance movements usually takes decades
It obfuscates local issues with overseas events which are apparently more important

Has the potential to be one long running joke about turning anything ordinary into a 'Blame the Terrorists!'

The movie actually was one of the few that did the book any justice too, so it might get absorbed a little better with the AV-Generation But even in this day and age I doubt it would get any large tele-presence from the US media.
It really does slice that deep to the bone in terms of political criticism.

something which always and still amazes me when im in the US is to see some ladies are asking for some low fat sugar or "fake sugar" and if they cant get them.....they give up for example buying a coffee ....or whatever


or when people ask in restaurant low calories drinks.....i dunno it sounds wierd to me like when i go out to restaurants i dont think about restricting myself like "i will only take a salad and half a apple " ....i go there because i want to enjoy a good moment with friends or family and as well a good meal

.....i mean we can diet every others days right?
