sweet, I just downloaded the demo to scope this baby out. I loved dark reign back in the day. Never got into total annihilation, but they look similar anyhow. Ive been waiting for a good rts. I was thinking just the other day to get Company of heroes, im not sure now. I can only get one game at a time because I dont have enough time to take on anymore...

Dark Reign was the total shit back in the day! The original of course...I wasnt much of a fan for the sequel. Total Annihilation was kickass too, but I wasnt very good at it. Company of Heroes I hear is outstanding, so picking between it and Supreme is a near-impossible choice.

Company of Heroes is pretty good, but I think Supreme Commander will have more lasting appeal.

Finally installing this game... took longer to get than I thought it would.

Cant get enough of this game. You guys should check out this mod for the demo, allows for you to play all the factions and a few of the maps

Played what seemed like a 2hour game only to lose.

The game has a fairly steep learning curve, but the massive battles and endless strategy is worth sticking with it

I've found that it's pretty difficult to make a comeback once you start to lose.

if your playing against the AI, best focus on ure economy and do light raids to keep em off balance. Ie take out his remote mass extractors.

my fave tactic is to fortify a forward base and pound his base with emplaced artillery & tactical missiles

Yes that works very well. Unfortunately it's easy to defend against that.
