i agree that there are many samples in electronic music
but basically its drum samples
sometimes drum loops...
not full tunes

you cant say marketing and no production value cuz in reality they sample the HOOks of the track basically what makes the track and then edit it and change it a little bit something you or me wont even notice but layer everything of there own ontop of it and come up with a hit the marketing value is just an added factor

If most of you haven't realized, Daft Punk's music is an obvious critique/reflection of pop music.

If you see how their style has changed to fit with the musical trends it's obvious. If anything they prove pop music is completely recyclable, and how that's not necessarily a bad thing.
