Rossi should have never left Honda, he'd won sooo much by now then. Not that's doing really bad with yamaha. Hope yamaha can sort out their bike's straight line speed cause it's really embarrassing.

While the difference in results may have proved true had he not left, this is reminiscent of how Schu left the dominant Bennetton team to the mid-pack (at best) Ferrari team for the added challenge of building a team & package around you.

Also in this time, the regulations have changed from 500cc 2-strokers to 900+change 4 strokers, no? I can't remember exactly when the change actually happenned since I've only just recently started following MotoGP.

Hopefully I can make it to a race this year!

^^^ Perdrosa was catching him off/on but after he put a wheel in the dirt and had a tank-slapper, he backed off a bit and consolidated 2nd place.

Rossi was on fire.

Great battle between Hayden & Hopkins, with Hopkins later overcooking it and laying it down (gently). I love the way he drives! Always sliding the bike.

Stoner had his moments, and was fast, but as was sort of predicted his Ducati didn't seem too happy with the tight circuit.

What a race today. The battle between the front three was awesome.

Stoner eventually taking the win.
