i have had plenty of problems with some of the people i was friends with. some of them were only there to stick around if i broke up with my boyfriend (one of them actually told me he really never intended to be my friend and he was only there so when i broke up with my bf, he could try).
my best friend that i used to be friends with was a backstabbing person and i never saw it coming...we were best friends from 5th grade all the way till my second year of college.
some people i have dealt with were hardly there when i needed them...
i woke the hell up and realized i needed to get some better friends. i was a little ignorant to avoid having girls as friends because i felt i couldn't trust them but then i realized that obviously not all girls are backstabbing. |
Sound like a familiar tale.... But Realizing it is the easy part. It's not like you can pick up good friends at CVS. I'm not necessarily resistant to girl friends; I just don't really have many/any. I work with old people, and go out scene wise so I don't have to stay home with the cats all the time... doesn't necessarily shed light to a solution.
