Wicked, wicked night. Many of my sentiments have been expressed above. Two things I'd like to add:
(1) RE: Jeff. Wow dude. You absolutely stole the show last night IMO, in part, because I don't think anyone knew what to expect from your first time playing in that room. I honestly can't say I was all that surprised, given the countless hours you have spent in that DJ booth learning from top notch guys such as Sean Miller, as well as the countless hours I have listened to you hone your skills/sound over the past year. I can't wait to see what comes next, my friend, starting next weekend at the Docks and then in April at O Lounge with the always amazing Nathan Barato...
(2) RE: Nevio. Thank you, man. Most people on these boards can't probably appreciate the massive financial and personal risk that you took over the past year or so to make Sonic happen. I, for one, have great respect for the decisions you made and what you accomplished. For all the second guessing and scrutiny that this venue has had to endure, I must say that for me at least, Sonic was hands-down the best club environment in the city (music/sound system/lights/dance floor/staff/patrons, etc.). Thank you. Sincerely. Nevio + Sonic, FTW....
That's it. Peace out.
Sonic RIP.
