Totally agree on the rest of the points - particularly the DJM400/800 time buttons... also, why didn't they put the sampler in the DJM400 into the 800?? It's SOOO much better than the one in the DJM600, it's not as if they'd be letting the mixer down by including it.

well, actually, their true installation mixer is the XONE:464.

so, if we were to think about it, the 62 is aiming to be the best of both worlds, both a DJ mixer affordable to the bedroom, and useful as installation/club mixer.

so, the 464 has 6 normal channels, and 4 "installation" channels.

then, they give the 62 4 normal channels, and 2 installation channels, that look exactly like the normal ones, have no extra functions, but only accept XLRs or 1/4"s as inputs. as jake said, this is easily fixable with a couple of adapters, but after shelling out my money, i shouldn't have to go out and buy adapters. not to mention, it would have been no skin off their backs to just add a couple RCA plugs in the back.

The only one I see that you've posted that I really even find all that irritating is the effects on the 800, but again, it's not really a "fatal" flaw, just odd.

Either way. I guess it's nice to have a thread that points to the kinds of things people MAY not consider before purchasing equipment...

im obviously exaggerating.

however, the gains on the back is a fucking fatal flaw if you ask me.

just as is the 2 unusable channels, if you were planning on using this as a 6 channel mixer (3 CDJs/3 turntables), since the filters won't go on 2 of the channels.

the gains on the Xone:32 for first timers is very weird. But from personal use I don't think twice where to grab for the gain, no bother to me.
