There is some stupid law in Quebec that forbids it. It deals with invasion of privacy.

Basically people in Quebec don't want other people to know how f-ed up they get at massives haha.

you forget that first of all its a private event in a private venue, so the promoter can do whatever he feels like in order to keep control over the image of his events. image... something you guys never heard of apparently

There's a law about privacy but its not the main reason.
