I would suggest buying one of those disposable digital cameras at the drug store. They have the same features as regular digital cameras, you can delete the photos you don't like and save the ones you want. If security catches you with it, then it's no big deal to throw it away. Also, it's no stress if you lose it.

i've never had a problem with cameras.. they don't really look too hard for that.. i've been to ultra twice and never been searched once (though i came between 4:00-6:00)

at this last bang i got searched and they just pat my side pockets basically and that was it.

For bang they didnt let me in with the camera.. then I had my girl go with it and no problem. ( I left my camera on the pocket )

Sometimes they search like a mofo sometimes they don't.

Usually, if you have a small camera.. just have it in your hand and put your hands up when they search you.. I don't remember them wanting to see what I have in my hand ( which is pretty odd if you think about it )
