Pigeon-holing trance can be important.

I remember when I went to see Paul van Driver, the kind of municipal hardcore, but little did I realise he would be banging out chaucerian techno going back to back with DJ Sonnet all night long. Had I read the flyer which explained this I would have been saved the expensive journey to Madagascar.

So a lesson to be learnt I believe.

I just call it Trance.
