ahhh i got it now. you can do that by hand just playing the notes at the right time in a different channel with different volume levels maybe others effects on it also.

You can get the "delay starting later and later" effect by automating the delay time.

In general modulation sweeps in delay time create great effects.

Automation wouldn't give the same effect as gravity, neither would having multiple tracks playing the same thing. Both of them are cool effects, but they do not give the same effect as a gravity setting.

The only thing I can think of with this setting on it off the top of my head is battery 3. See if you can get your hands on that to show you what I mean. There might be a similar setting in the psyche delay in fm8 as well, I can't remember.
I've seen gravity other places as well, but I can't remember where... Come to think of it though, it seems more like an effect that needs to be implemented in midi, so perhaps its actually not whats happening in this track, after all most vocalists don't sing in midi... what's being described sounds like gravity though, a delay which gets further apart with each echo , I don't know how you could do that in audio, except maybe by drawing in the automation really carefully.

maybe pvd didn't do automation and instead sliced up the audio in something like soundforge and created the delays on his own?

this is easy:

The waves supertap allows you to adjust pan / level of each delay. pretty cake. i'm sure he used this or something similar.

You've got to pay to play brotha. I have this plug and I love it. I set up 4-5 on different busses all with different types of delay effects. If i want a sound to do whatever effect, i just adjust the appropriate send. easy!

Just save up and get one of the bundles (best deal). You won't find any artist profile anywhere that doesn't at least have the WAVES Gold bundle .
