Tiesto14 ----->... abortion is actually legal, at least in Ontario it is.. it's covered by OHIP. Most people think it's not legal because the abortion centres are very secretive about it for the clients purpose and to not attract attention and controversy..but it is legal.
And as for "NightMonger".. I respect the fact you don't want to loose friends, and I can see your point of view, and I CAN stand opinions and criticism where and when it's appropriate. I think you know what I mean. Enough about that!

Im not gona stop anyone here, i agree with waxen and said this before. Im fed up to the backteeth of people being too "scared" to voice their opion, and would rather spend 2 hrs a day typing "lol" "yeah mate, i like that track too" or "have a good one", which is fine, but to be too scared to have a decent disscussion incase you offend someone with your opion, incase it dissagrees's with their, then there's no point you being here. I put them in bold to outline people have different opions, if you dont agree with the person above..so? whats wrong with that? if everyone agreed them there would be no point in forums at all!

Well, I am in favor of abortion, so flame me. I that there are many good points arguing against it, protection of life, making sure that people don't decide when a life is "worth" living (see 3rd Reich), but i thinks that some of these risks are less than what is to be gained.

First off, I believe that women will suffer enough if they have an abortion so that they will not think of having a 'casual' abortion. Apart from that, women need to be allowed to have a choice. Sometimes, people make mistakes and while the guy can just walk away as if nothing happened, the girl is stuck with a child. Do you really want to be responsible for another person being born with the mother not wanting it?

The adoption point: I have no idea on the laws about adoption in the US, so I am not sure which limitations they put on mothers, plus you have to give brith to the child first, which takes a lot of work for a while, methinks.

All women should have the choice - it's their bodies, they should be able to do whatever they want with it.

Personally, I agree with Julie_Spyder .. if I got pregnant now, I would get an abortion. I don't think that I would be able to bring a child into this world yet - I am not ready to have someone else's life in my hands .. too much responsibility.

But don't you think that it's your problem. I mean.. if you were stupid enough to get pregnant in the first place why should you end your creations life because of a mistake you made? It's just an opinion but I think if your responsible enough to have sex then you should be responsible enough to raise that baby. I think abortion is just a selfish act to cover up a mistake someone made.. you just have to wipe your hands clean like it never happenned and move on with your life.. I think that is somewhat wrong.

u have a valid point waxen, but i dont say i agree with it. sex (im still a virgin, so i cant talk from expirence) sometimes isnt intended, maybe the condom split? peeps were drunk? you can either have an abortion, or bring up a child in an infit environment, which could screw the kid up no end. no education, no money, no morals, no loving parents, and if it all goes wrong big-style, u end up with a mass murderer whos on a killing spree. lol!, ok thats extreme, but its plasuable, so in that sense, u would be saving many lifes with the death of one, and thats what the death penitly is for? argh, way to complicated! (read between the lines with what i tried to say, havent got enough time to write it all out in full, sorry)!

maybe i am basing stuff too much on my own values, but i do not think that anyone will take an abortion lightly.

this ones easy. No. because abortion should never happen in the first place. The mistake isnt made in saying Yes ill get an abortion. the mistake is made saying Ill have stupid unprotected sex when im not prepared for the consequences kind of stuff. Abortion shouldnt be a yes or no thing.Rape thats hard and all I can say is that people shouldnt be rapists lol. Im not even gonna try tot ell you about that. But too many people I know have had more than THREE abortions each because they love having unprotected sex...does that actually seem right to anyone? to me thats so wrong it hurts. another issue would be :the pill: because that probably kills more potential "people" than anything else. but main point is this. The decision to not be safe in sexual practices and the decision to not understand the consequences is/was your choice, live with it. I wont get into the religious side of it because thats a whole nutha argument. and when you say its your body you can do with it what you want that actually isnt true in my opinion. When you get pregnant you give up your bodily autonomy (morally) because there is another life dependent on your actions. Its the same reason that while you CAN drink alcohol and drop acid while pregnant you SHOULDNT. if the argument about life comes up...EEEK. Ill just say this though. It sure as heck isnt dead.
