lol, we were chillin with desyn during the beginning of the nite, mono my friend here is desyn's mate so , anyhow when howells dropped his new rmx of bent's waiting for you, we all were like ok here it is, cause it was the track that you fucking knew he was gonna play at some point, anyway we went nuts i go to desyn hmm, i wonder who made this rmx, hes like i dont know either its a very special one
and looking now at the tl, danny and his obsession with bent is huge i mean in a decade he has remixed them 4 times just by this tl, always good shit with him, but in these dig deep events its the classics that make it great, especially at the end when theres only like 50 peeps left and he plays the tracks he knows all of us love and know and havent expected to hear out in years, thats why i dont miss his shit! |
I like him because he can hold peoples attention over the course of 10 hours better than any dj on this planet with cutting edge/fun/interesting tracks all night with great mixing throughout. I am glad he played that tom middleton track from his essential mix. I took a mental note to remember that moment when im back stuck in classes/work up here in boston. I can go to that happy place now hahaha

yes the happy place, i visit it atleast once a day!!!! and i am gonna try to see this man during wmc next year. i missed him this year b/c i knew i was gonna see him one week later, but during conference would be magical, i know |
NOTHING beats a dig deeper marathon, thats why i missed Lawler, and i fucking love steve lawler, prolly more than danny at times, but when you are put up against a Howells wmc dig deeper marathon, there is no comparison, steve always rips it here, and always spins for 4 hours. danny comes sparingly now, and like aforementioned, its nothing like his made in bed, now pawn shop for the last 2 yrs gigs, raving reviews 6 yrs and counting!
its a chance for him to showcase the fact that a true dj is a musician at heart, not some guy who can put a bunch of records together and bang it out for a few hours. old records new record, weird records, he does it all at these things, not to mention i like that danny gets completed wasted by the end of it, hes a good shit for sure!
exhibit a....about 730 am:

similar to the few of us still standing! lol
