I've only heard his remix of lethal industry and thought it sucked, too hardstylish for me.

Will check out his other productions however.

My only complaint with all these remixes is the change in the name leaving out the original artist.

example:

Tatana & Tyas pres T&T - Airwave 2006
Tatana meets Tyas - Children 2006

They're good tracks, but it seems the original producers are getting screwed out of recognition. I'd prefer them to be

Rank 1 - Airwave (Tatana & Tyas's 2006 Remix)

na'mean

i agree with isoterra about sunhump. i really didnt have a feel for that track at all, more like a half assed dj shah track imo. some of durands tracks are the same for me as tyas... some you like and some you dont, its just picking out the right ones that you like cos your never gonna like every track every producer ever makes. thats just the way it is.

as for the remixing classics issue, theres atleast a million remixes that are done by producers of those tunes that never get signed up but those guys never get the grief that the producers who get theirs released do. its down to the labels at the end of the day, if they get signed up then its because the labels know that they will make lots of money and thats what counts. white labels and bootlegs no matter how good or bad manage to shift lots of units so if the labels hold the copyrights then they'll put them out. in the likes of tyas's case and many other producers, they make those edits or remixes for their sets but they pretty much get signed up because of the reaction they get on the dancefloor.
