This year's Nikki Beach set wasn't recorded (that is, if James told me the truth ). Too bad because they played the new Super8 & Tab, which is really good!

The BED one was supposed to air live on XM, but I didn't have my car or my computer with me at the time to check I'm pretty sure it was recorded as a result, so it should turn up online any time now

Yeah, these guys rock it out pretty damn good and I just hope Armin et al at Twilo tonight kick it out too... Bed is a really nice venue and there were no scum bags like Space has... The only thing is their sound system is really not all that great and I thought and told the cameraman that it definitely was not loud enough.

Yeah I was so glad I could attend this joyous night. Especially with the VIP treatment. We were next to the DJ booth all night and you could not have asked for a better crowd to play to. Jono kept looking at me and laughing when I called out almost every song they played. Some of my highlight tunes were...Super8 & Tab-Needs to Feel(Wippenberg Mix),David West & Andreas Hermanson-Larry Mountains 54, Kenidel Lopez-Heavens Caliber(Thomas Datt Mix), Signalrunners -Aria Epica(Bart Classen Mix), A&B-Alone Tonight&Far From in Love, Daniel Kandi-Child, and def when Cosmic Gate got in the building and A&B dropped Element of Life(the roof came off the club lol). Anyone who missed this show def missed one hell of a night.

those guys had the best sets in all of WMC. They were true to trance unlike many. I expected cosmic gate and blank and jones to play trance but they too went to the house proggy techno like sounds. Above and Beyond were non stop trance. WOO HOO!

Not quite. The first 30-60 minutes were very progressive. And the last half hour before the last hour was very techy. There were other non-trance moments in between as well, which I pointed out to Jono, who didn't seem to care

I have to agree, but like I said before, using that hour of prog helped to build the set properly, and since it was an extended set, it worked perfectly. I didn't like the proggy crap in the beginning but it worked well.

Oh really? I didnt make it to this event but i saw them at the apple store and the Nikki Beach party. Maybe because they had a 1 hour set instead of a long one, they didnt bother with a proggy build up like you all are saying in this case. But when they want too, its WOOHOO trance!!! The theme for EDM is straying from trance as much as possible now. Even the DJ's who made it by producing trance are trying to back off - its sad.
