There's a reason I volunteer in my third and fifth grade teacher's classes.
Edit: Well, he's not my third grade teacher, he taught my first and second grade classes, but he's teaching third now. My actual third grade teacher was very passionate as well, but he quit a couple of years after I had his class.

I've been fortunate to have mostly amazing teachers over the years, especially now. All of my professors absolutely love what they do (nursing AND teaching), they're extremely knowledgeable, and they have so much experience in their field. It's really inspiring.
the day we started the unit about the vietnam war he brought in a stereo and asked us to close our eyes and actually listen
then he spent the entire class playing music for us, some of the best music at the time and he asked us to really listen to the lyrics and get a feel for the time
i thought that was cool
my on-air instructor and vocal coach in college were really good as well
Eh, It's hard to really pick but I'd have to say my High School Senior English teacher, she had a huge impact on me. There are teachers who just teach every day and then there are those that stand out and put all they have into their career and put so much emphasis and devotion into the students they teach.
I mean I've always hated taking english but I really enjoyed my last year in high-school because of this teacher, also to mention that the class was taken to England for a few weeks which was great, friend and I went to Pacha in London which ruled .

My 10th grade history teacher...he was definitely insane. The class consisted solely of him going on crazy lectures/rants for an hour and a half, which still, somehow, managed to keep everyone awake. He was quite the entertaining fellow. He seemed like he'd be more at home in the middle of the wilderness, living in a cabin, but he knew his stuff.
...plus, we never had homework or tests--just 10-page papers for which we couldn't use any more than 3 'to be' verbs per page, and which required at least 30 primary quotes . Everyone hated it at the time, but that sure made writing anything a hell of a lot easier for the rest of my life.

My high school chemistry teacher. I didn't really give two shits about chemistry but she was just so fucking smoking hot and just out of college so not that much older than me either. She made me passionate about chemistry lol like always going to her study sessions and helping her set up the lab and shit. I got a way better grade in that class than I would have if she was some old hag or a dude.
