ive seen judge jules twice. first time was at my first ever trance event ("rave" is so 90's it makes me sick) and he played basically radio stuff, all nite, shitty ppk, rapture (ya know by the time it grated ur brain like a cheese grater?) and other cheesy crap.

i aint seen him for a whiel, and havnt like it, but a few peopel were saying he was getting good and i didnt belive them, coz quite frankly it didnt seem feasable. last week was judgement sunday and me and gibbo mainly went to see ferry. but i was shocked. jules played a grate twoi hour set, which wasnt unstructured or crap, it was a pirist hard set, not to hard housey, plenty of hard trance thrown in there liek your cosmic gate mixes and dumonde etc. with some of that uncomplicated style hard but not so type stuff. it made a great set compared to his usualy crap, and to be quite honest the idea is to get the crowd going being a dj, and he did, and it wernt coz theyre all juels fans up ere coz they hear him o nthe radio or whatever, it was a really bangin set!

i cant say i look to jules as being one of my fave djs, but hes one i wont frown upon when seeing him in a lineups, knowing i will be able to dance to his sets and have a good time regardless (tall paul is another matter tho... hes shit)


mind you if jules plays more than a normal sized set he might get crap but who knows... i judge djs by their performences and not by their mp3s like most people on this site...

i am not the biggest jules fan myself (he acts like an asshole), but i will give him credit where its due... he's had some great sets...

a couple of weeks ago i saw him at Space Miami with Tiesto, Gielen, Fleming, and others... and Jules had the best set that night! its weird.. Jules has had some killer sets and some crappy sets.... it all is in how he feels that night i guess.... which is my only real complaint with him... he spins too many styles, that you never know what he's going to be spinning that night.... i got burnt on him once and that was too much - he spun HOUSE! oh god...

i'm not flaming jules..i'm just being critical. i explained why i didn't like the set and everything. when a dj is that famous and that accomplished i expect much more from him.

when a dj gives a subpar performance i won't be ashamed to critisize him.
