forget that Chris, how about walking around in a park or chilling on a beach with beer bottles, and not hiding from anyone? my friend and I would always pop down to a local periptero for a cooler or two and go chilling somewhere
I know, that's classic in a lot of European countries, Spain is like that mostly from what I remember. I was going to go back this year but can't, going next year for my entire vacation instead.

and then people get drunk and start throwing bottles in the water and then others step on broken glass. That's how i sliced half my foot open in the water before, no thanks.

I'd watch where you walk...unless the water is so poluted you can't see it.
People who are wasted and throw bottles in the ocean are retarded but that's no reason to not sell it at convenience stores. People will do what they do regardless of a given circumstance. If I wanted to buy beer and sit at an ocean and do stupid shit I'd buy it anyway regardless of where I had to go to get it.

WTF
exactly , and furthmore, its its just McGuinty using a scape goat. Had the system been airtight in the first place there would be no room for the retailers to rip off the system.
then again, the lottery system has been the same since i can remember , and gone through many differnet governments, so how the conservatives are using this as leverage i don't know.

Oh man, how I hate to run last minute to the latest-open beer store in Toronto, and in the last second, as the security guard shutting the door, scream "NOOOOOOO!"
Well, McGuinty is a god in his own way . He is like a big daddy who knows what people need and don't need. In the states where I was last weekend, they were laughing their asses off hearing that we in Canada (they don't care which province we are in..it's all the same to them), a much liberal nation, have to buy alcohol in specialized stores.
Take a look at Ukriane. You see how they are all out in the street because of a mere political scandal? We should use their example regarding LCBOs in Ontario!
