It's his own fault. If he wanted his government to protest his right to a presumption of innocence earlier then he should have either been arrested during an election year or become an olympic gold-medal swimmer. If he didn't have the foresight to do either, why should John Howard care?

lol so you're comparing hicks with ian thorpe. very intelligent. you want basic human rights, then don't join terrorist groups and willingly try to harm your own country and your own country's allies. what was the taliban's stance on human rights again?
