There was a real sense of "meh I want it harder, but it's nice to hear this right now", his sound really complimented the space. His mixing and stage presence were kind of avg and like I mentioned his quick exit left a bad taste in my mouth. BUT in the end I'll let the tunes speak for themselves, and classify last night as a quality/memorable set! A lot of those tracks will be around for a while.

Nice review Jon, best I've seen in a bit.

My review:

- I never care about the "see and be seen" crowd at TIL but on Friday night they got the best of me- annoying as hell, pushy, and aggressive
- I was very very much looking forward to seeing Kaskade as his most recent sets have blown me away so I went into this with high expectations
- Best ive heard of Manzone and Strong in awhile- they always deliver but they were on fire on Friday.
- Kaskade played everything I wanted to hear- EVERYTHING. I sang almost his entire set at the top of my lungs and danced my little heart out however....
- He left something to be desired. So many tunes, such a fresh sound, but no filler, nothing creative to bring it all together in between.
- His exit was way too much for me aswell- four security guards? peace. Just shake the sketchbags hands and be done with it, honestly.

All in all tunes were fantastic, exactly my cup of tea but something was missing for me in his set that I can't quite put my finger on. Crowd was pushy, no shocker. Good friends, all in all another great night out.
