Supporting the troops means that even if you do not agree with the war they are involved in you don't stab them in the back when they are in the warzone and when they come home you don't call them baby killers and other bullshit like the propaganda sucking hippies did during Vietnam.

A person in the American Armed Forces is a professional soldier. They have no choice but to be deployed to a war zone if their Commander in Chief sends them there. Its no different than if your boss at McDonalds tells you to go clean the grease fryer. Nobody wants to do that, but if they get ordered to they certainly don't need to hear a bunch of shit from the chicken shit peanut gallery back here in the States, 99% of which would not have the stones to stand up and fight even if the continental US was being invaded.

Supporting the troops can be as much as sending them care packages or as little as thanking a soldier you see for keeping you safe.

And no matter what you well meaning hippies think, cutting their funding and pulling the troops out before their job is done is not supporting the troops. If you leave before the job is done you can bet your ass you will be back again, putting more troops in harms way. If we had finished the job back in 1991 there wouldn't be any American soldiers in Iraq today.

I support the troops by being paid to help develop new weapons and technologies for them to more effectively slaughter their foes in combat. That's where my support ends, but I imagine it's far more useful than the "moral support" of 100,000,000 people who are all talk and no action.

You mind lending me some of those weapons so I can cap some of those mother******s when they get back? You know, the ones torturing and raping Iraqi women and children, and indiscriminately "slaughtering their foes" (like little babies with depleted uranium).

Yeah, hippies are pussies for using just words. I say go all the way. Line up these ******s and shoot them in the head one by one. Ofcourse before we do that, we're going to need to seperate the asshole war criminals from the ones who're actually decent ppl in the wrong place at the wrong time.

LOL, what great "American job" are you on about? The only job America owes towards Iraq is rebuilding the whole country with a stable... FREE... (Islamic or not... whatever the people want) government and get the troops back home as soon as possible. Again, your going to have to fund your own troops, possibly even deploy some more since your also going to rebuild the country now that we've discovered the ....ahem... Weapons of Mass Destructions.

Oh and I choose to support the troops because I value human life.

Edit: Oh yeah the shia and sunni/insurgents/hyper muslim terrorists.. conflict?? Stablizing that shouldn't be a problem since democracy always wins... right?

I never realized how in-your-face supporting the troops had to be. I thought it was more of a laid back known variable... of course we support the people who risk their lives to defend us.

Last I checked, supporting the troops was not synonymous with supporting greedy politicians.

Lay off the crack and read my post correctly. What I said was that being a soldier is a job. Just like being a doctor or lawyer. So don't shit on the troops because they are ordered to go to Iraq just because you don't agree with the war.

LOL, ok. Then by that logic, do you "support the lawyers" or "support the doctors" too?

Eh... don't shit on the troops because they are killing hundreds of Iraqis on a daily basis??

You called me a crackhead genius but you missed the very point of the post. America made the biggest mistake by going into Iraq and "supporting the troops" is a merely a slogan to make the general populace feel better because they blew millions of dollars of tax payer money on a witch hunt.

Also the fact that you think that America is fighting for FREEDOM in Iraq is fucking absurd! Again, that's probably why Fox was set up. America was hunting Osama, remember 9/11? The twin towers?? Yeah....

No, because they don't have liberals waiting for them at home when they get off work to call them child killers or war criminals.
