The last Austin Powers movie was filmed in Arena. I'm sure there's been more.
Circus has had many but the ones I know of are: "Dancing with the Stars", "America's Next Top Model", and I'm not sure if it was "Blind date" or some other dating show that used to be on TV.

umm what do you think publicity like that is worth to a club like arena? do you think hbo drives truckloads of cash to every location in la they shoot on? no, most likely they get to use whatever commercial space they want for free unless the shoot is disrupting normal business or creating some other high cost (i don't know, i haven't seen the episode yet). i think it's funny you think they were paid loads of money for the publicity though. if they were paid anything, it would be the cost of renting the club for the night.

i GUARANTEE that Arena and Circus were paid a shooting fee. probably in the low five-figures i'd guess. a major production like Entourage/HBO will always pay a location fee.

no one outside of us EDM fans and the boys-who-like-boys had any idea where that venue was. hence being on Entourage was not worth anything to Gene other than the extra income.

Well they didn't promote the club at all. The only people who know that was Circus or Arena are the people who go there or who worked there..

They didn't anywhere highlight the name of the club or even say the names. So if you are john doe watching Entourage, it is just some place. Same as any other. I doubt a business would want to let someone use their space for free. And, they have plenty of money to go around.

saw the episode last night!!! and lol when they were walking down the stairs, i was thinking how many times i've carefully navigated myself down those stairs after one too many ernesto drinks!!! and they should have shown the hot dog ladies outside, they are synomous with those 2 places
