Re: The Space Brothers - Everywhere I Go (PvD vs vmc rework)

it sounds ALOT like the push remix... i actually didn't hear much difference between them
but, just clean up the part they mentioned, otherwise it's a nice rework.

cheers!

That's because PvD took the push remix and changed it slightly... and now vmc changed it a bit more again. Maybe you should change the title to "Everywhere I Go (Push vs. PvD vs. vmc)"?

Any chance we could see an updated version of this? (Possibly using a rip of PvD's rework from his Rosenmontags set) as the best bit about the Van Dyk rework had to be the build and this one unfortunately doesn't have it

I'd also like to know what programs you used ?? i'd love to have a go at doing something like this! .. Especially with the PvD remix of 'Born Slippy'!

Keep up the good work though!

My aim wasn't to do an exact copy of PVD's rework. It was to do something like it, but not exactly like it. So I won't use the rip of PVD's rework taken from any set. Another thing is that the rework must sound as a full rip (no crowd here), not a track taken from a set with 'reworked' end and beginning.

Arrow Lexicon 4 - Reach Me (vmc rework) <-- do it or not?

I'm thinking of reworking Lexicon 4 - Reach Me in order to remove vocals, whom I REALLY hate (that's why I also don't like Svenson & Gielen remix - they kept it!). What do you think - make a rework or not?

BTW, I'm glad you like my rework of Everywhere I Go.

the vocals are weird cause the actual piano lead and vocals are taken from a soft rock classic... from which title i forgot

but i do like them... and i like them in this track, because of the euphoric lead after the break (in the svenson & gielen remix that is! this one's superb).

so i don't really mind the vocals in this track

cheers!
