Women CAN bleed during their first trimester, and even in their second trimester (less likely, and huge sign of complications), just as a heads up to those of you who think blood means no chance of pregnancy.
That being said, it is rare, so the chances that your wife is pregnant are pretty low.
Either way, it is a smart idea to get her to a doctor to have everything looked at.
Oh, and I agree with Frenchie on the pill being complete and utter shite.

but why? i know that uterine stuff can make someone sick. is this what you're referencing? since actually having a baby or otherwise can make women *majorly* sick or otherwise...
the pill sucks, but its better that some other options in many cases|

I think the pill is just not right. Anything that messes with a female reproductive system just isn't right. In a selfish way, I enjoy my girl being on the pill, but it's too unnatural.
But hey, it's your body, do what you want.

I hate the pill, it causes too many side effects and unnecesarry hormones to be running through your system.
Bleeding is possible during pregnancy but if she has been taking her pill on schedule it shouldnt be possible although there is a very very small chance. Worst part about that is if she does get pregnant while on the pill it may cause complications with the pregnancy assumeing that she is going to have the baby.
If she still has her period now the guno wont examine her until its gone, well not internally anyway. If you are really that worried go to the drug store and get an early pregnancy test and make her take it.
P.S. stress can cause changes in the period but so can just getting older in general.
I used to be on point all the time till after I had my son, then my period was all over the place (no not literally) coming late, or early, then it somewhat stabilized and got shorter in the number of days and recently for the past 3 months it comes 4-5 days later than it should be. So I have had my fair share of false alarm scares as well.

Hate the pill, been off it for 2 years. Sure it makes things regular and less painful, but couldn't stand the high blood pressure it used to give me and headaches.

lol not really. i know several women who got a full period in the first 2 months of pregnancy, and didn't think they were preggo because of that. it happens all the time.
oh and my high school sweetheart's mom got pregnant with him while on the pill.

it can occur a week early. I have witnessed it, and all turned out ok. Stress can do that to a womanz.
so you are good.

The pill is evil.
Essentially you are taking a tablet jam packed with hormones, which then slams into your body and forces it to behave differently than it naturally would.
Sorry, but pumping hormones into your body is not, in my opinion, a healthy or natural thing to do, and I want nothing to do with it.
Oh, and I am not just rambling on about something I don't know about... I was on the pill for a year and a half, and I regret it. I will never go on it again.
On that note, do any of you ladies know anything about the IUD??
