Wait, I thought Democrats wanted to bring this country together and actually change our current situation? |
That's what they are trying to do. But Bush and Cheney are in the way. They haven't brought us together, they've divided us. The Democrats are listening to the American people, and poll after poll shows that Dick Cheney's popularity is around 20%, Bush's is in the mid to lower 30s. So more than half of the American people area against them and want them out of there. Impeachment may not work or be in the nation's best interest since they are almost out of there, but the American people have spoken. The American want, and the Democrats certaintly are doing..is OVERSIGHT, and that is what was solely lacking with the Republicans.
Now with the firing of those Attorney's, the Republicans have joined the Democrats and are going along with what the American people want....as I said OVERSIGHT. Maybe that is more important right now than impeachment, but it what our forefathers wanted with the seperation of powers....oversight on the other branches of government....not just a stamp of approval on everything one branch does by another.
