I like all the Pioneer mixers before the 800, the 800 has bizarre EQ curves and I really dont think the sound is as great as everyone says. Its very bass heavy, and the highs aren't as crisp as on the Xones.
And regarding the cueing on the Xone 32, I never have two channels cued at once, theres a handy mix knob on it that works great.

I own a Xone:32. It only has one filter unit, not two like the Xone:92. Also, the layout is perfectly fine imo... the gains are easily accessible and regardless of the mixer I'm using, I have never found it necessary to be able to see the number that the gain is set at.
